A Framed Early 19th Century Spanish Fan with paper border and mother-of-pearl sticks. The duck-egg blue paper mount decorated with figural scenes in landscape and delicate sprays of white & blue blossom enriched with gilt leaves and embellishments. The pierced mother-of-pearl sticks lavishly decorated with silver & gilt ornamentation. The loop handle threaded with a metallic gold thread and blue silk tassel. The fan mounted in a glazed demi-lune case lined in olive green velvet, 25" (64 cm) in diameter.
