A Fine 19th Century Louis XV Style Carved Giltwood Centre Table. The serpentine rouge-royale marble top having a moulded edge above a carved giltwood base. The sweeping Rococo apron enriched with trellis panels and pierced cartouches framing winged cherub heads above rocaille-work to the front and back with foliate scrolls either end. The moulded cabriole legs tapering down to scroll knop feet and united by sweeping X-form stretcher, 35½" (90 cm) high, 48" (122 cm) wide, 33" (84 cm) deep.
