The glazed oval case lined with lock and key (working), lined in green brocade and standing on square tapering legs painted with pendant chains of bellflowers and united by a X-form under-structure of broken scroll stretchers bearing an oval platform to the centre, 30¼" (77 cm) high, 28" x 17¾" (71 cm x 45 cm).
