婴戏题材在瓷器上的运用首见于成化官窑，后成一代名品，后朝均有所承袭，尤以晚明嘉靖、万历最为多见。清朝受晚明以来审美影响，表现童子婴戏的题材亦多有采用，本品即为壹例。其形端庄典雅，胎体轻薄坚致，釉面光洁莹润，但见一群小童三五成群，神态各异，嬉戏于庭院之间，天真烂漫，童趣盎然。绘画精细入微，神形俱佳，釉彩填绘细致。
