Y A Japanese Cast Bronze Hanaike (or wall vase) in the form of a leaping carp, the well rendered body gilded all over, length 23.5cms, 18th-19th Century; a Cast Bronze Model of a Toad squatting with front feet in-turned, the body with glossy patina, length 13cms, unsigned, Late Edo Period; a Japanese Lacquered Turtleshell Cheroot Case, decorated with birds in a landscape, 11.5cms; a Square Japanese Wood Box, lacquered to the cover with Cranes amid grasses, 5cms square, 19th Century; and a Japanese Iron and Bronze Model of a Jizai Kagi (hook for a kettle) modelled as though made of bamboo, 17.5cms, 19th Century (5) Condition Report: The Hanaike has lost much gilding, its whiskers are lacking and there appears to be an old restoration to the head.
