Qing Dynasty, the faux-bois bowl with Qianlong seal mark The first thickly potted and standing on a bi-shaped foot, enamelled overall to the exterior in imitation of wood, the rim gilded, the foot enamelled turquoise, 11.6cm (4 5/8in) diam.; the second thinly potted, enamelled to the exterior with a small green bird perched on a blossoming prunus branch intertwined with peonies, 12.8cm (5in.) diam.
