梅瓶造型小巧，通体施洒蓝釉，肩部两处圆形开光，分绘山水人物纹和花鸟纹。洒蓝釉为明代宣德时期创烧的一种色釉品种，其制作工艺是在已烧成的瓷胎上，以竹管蘸钴蓝釉汁，吹于器表烧制而成，浅色斑点仿佛飘落的雪花隐露于蓝釉之中，釉面浓淡不一，故称为“洒蓝”或“雪花蓝”， 属于名贵品种。近看如“蓝地融雪” ，且胎釉结合紧密，《南窑笔记》中称为“吹青釉”。
