Designed by ART2WATCH, in collaboration with Erte and the celebration of his 95th birthday. Erte's vision of the pocket watch came to life as he drew the black and white watch dial to represent a daisy. For the hands, he saw male and female figures. For the rear lid, Erte created a female laying on crescent moon and male standing over rising sun as he thought that man was born of a woman's flower and night brings forth the day. It took approximately 28 firings to create the enamel process. Designed and made to raise funds for Severin Wunderman Museum.
