A Keeling & Co late Mayer's Oxford pattern earthenware dinner service, transfer printed in underglaze blue with border of blossom and formal leafage, gilt line rims, comprising ten 26cm diam plates, twelve 24cm diam plates, twelve 19cm diam plates, four graduated oval meat plates, two large two handled tureens, covers and stands, two small tureens, covers, stands and sauce ladles, printed and impressed marks, bearing registration number 186329 Generally good with some crazing, large meat plate and smallest meat plate and with some discolouration, two of the smallest plates with chips to underside of rims, otherwise light wear and scratches consistent with age
