A late Victorian oak smoker's cabinet, c1890, the hinged top lifting to reveal a provision for five pipes, open shelf above two small drawers, open recess for tobacco jar and further open recess, the front enclosed by a pair of foliate carved raised fielded panelled doors, skirted plinth, 26cm h x 28cm w; together with another late Victorian or Edwardian smoker's cabinet, the hinged lid and bevelled glazed front door opening to reveal recess for five pipes, provision for tobacco box and single drawer, skirted plinth, 28cm h x 20cm w; together with a large quantity of pipes including meerschaum block pipes, one numbered 9439, other pipes by Hardcastles, Rohan, Peterson's, Falcon, together with pipe stands, lighters by Falcon, Ben Wade and others, a brass oval tobacco box and hinged cover, the top engraved tobacco within a wriggle work border, 11cm w, etc Two smoker's cabinets in generally good condition consistent with age.
