此件香薰器型端庄典雅，胎质缜密，器身堆雕梅花纹，纹饰生动，工艺精细，通体无釉，反瓷，亦称“生瓷”，是一种以瓷土作胎，胎上雕琢纹饰，素胎生烧的瓷器。它始于明代万历时期的景德镇窑，在清代同治、光绪年间盛行。
