Late 19th/early 20th century of almost-square form, double-sided and meticulously stitched with men carrying a tiger, leopards, Buddhist lions, eagles, and ladies greeting male officials in gardens amongst pavilions and trees, all on a yellow silk ground, the faces stitched with hand painted bones and matching front to back, surrounded by frieze and fringe. 149cm (58 3/5in) long x 159cm (62 1/2in) wide.
