The magazine is about this fight. He reigned as the undisputed heavyweight champion from 1970 to 1973. As an amateur he won a gold medal at the 1964 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. He later lost to Ali in the classic fight known as: 'The Thrilla in Manila', and due to the maginificent boxing of both players, they reserved their places in boxing history. Joe Frazier was introduced to the Boxing Hall of Fame in 2013, two years after his passing. The fight of the century celebrated it?s 50th anniversary this year in march 2021 and re-gained attention as it was recognized as the most vital turning point in boxing history, solidifying Fraziers incredible legacy.
