A Venetian silver-mounted dagger, dated 1767 Narrow thrusting blade of triangular section. Both sides deeply fullered with fine point perforations. The short, square ricasso with engraved décor and a baluster-shaped base. The silver quillons richly decorated in relief, the ring on the obverse with a cover of fine silver filigree and lavishly set with polished gemstones. The grip with the original silver wire winding and Turk's heads. Grooved ball pommel. The scabbard in lavishly engraved silver, the date "1767" engraved below the raised suspension loop.
