A South German silver-damascened town sword, circa 1620 Double-edged blade of hexagonal section, the forte with flat fuller on both sides. The blade partially corroded. Sawtooth marks and other symbols struck within the fuller. The strongly downcurved quillons and the iron grip with raised, silver-damascened decor. Portrayal of heads between hop tendrils. Length 86.5 cm.Condition: I - II
