A Chinese antique Dayazhai porcelain bowl. Scalloped lobed rim with gilt trim, turquoise interior with exterior yellow ground, and encircling images of prunus branches in flower, with a perched crested and long tailed bird. Yong Qng Chang Chun (meaning "Eternal Prosperity and Enduring Spring") mark to base; side includes red incised Da Ya Zhai (meaning "Abode of Great Refinement") mark, plus oval panel bearing two opposing dragons encircling the characters "tian di yi jia chun" (meaning "Heaven and Earth are United in Spring"). It and other Dayazhai porcelain pieces were produced circa early 1870s for the restoration of Yuan Ming Yuan Summer Palace, overseen by the Tongzhi Emperor.
