Red silk with a silver fringe on three edges and lavish applications in silk and silver brocade, the details highlighted with silver embroidery and black silk. A white disc on both sides surrounded by a laurel wreath, above four diagonal, white rays, outlined in black and broadening outwards to the corners. Black swastikas, outlined in silver, appliquéd in the corners. The discs with a Luftwaffe eagle extending above the wreath on the right of the centre and an Iron Cross on the left. The colours still vibrant, slight marks of the fastening nails in the heading, insignificant stains. Dimensions including heading approx. 140 x 125 cm.Condition: II +
