The solid square body with a fine cover of white linen, trimmed in black ribbed silk, both sides with a silver woven SS eagle above the standard number "73" in black embroidery. The colours still vibrant, small moth holes on the front. Dimensions approx. 26 x 26 cm. Includes part of the protective cover.The 73rd SS-Standarte "Mittelfranken" formed part of the "Main" section, was established in Nuremberg and stationed in Ansbach.
