Turkish Damascus steel blade, width circa 3.5 cm, in unusual “snake” shape (a similar shape sword blade was utilized by Carl Eickhorn company in their advertising). Matching Damascus-made cross-guard hilt and round ball-shaped pommel. Grip is wrapped in fine silver wire. The ricasso is stamped “1936” and has a small circular “PM” (Paul Müller) manufacturer’s signet mark inside copper color disc inset near hilt. This sword was purchased directly from Paul Müller’s daughter in 1987 and had been a personal possession of Müller that had hung on the wall of their household since the war. Length circa 104 cm. Cf.
