The straight, double-edged blade in silver-plated nickel-silver with a medial ridge on each side and a central point, "GLADIO ET MENTE" engraved on the front in red letters. The heavy gilt bronze hilt with fully sculptured lion's heads and Savoy cross quillons, the grip in the form of fasces, the axe blade with the figure of an eagle as a pommel, a flaming hilt bearing the inscription "MCMXX" at the root of the grip, the Roman numerals "MCMXXX" on the grip ring. The blade somewhat notched and abraded, the hilt abraded, small fractures in places, signs of age. Length 48 cm.An extremely rare dagger of the fascist regime.Condition: II
