此瓶撇口，束颈，溜肩，腹部渐收，圈足。器身施窑变釉，整体造型设计奇巧，周身内凹数道倭棱线，瓶身颈部采用模印剔刻技法，塑一绳结纹，尤如捆绑袋子的麻绳，此器造型甚为少见，因其形而被称作包袱瓶，其又叫布袋瓶。由于其器形独特，纹饰优美，且“包袱”与“包福”谐音，故而寓意幸福、吉祥美好，因此成为后世争相仿制的精品。
