Group of two small ancient terracotta figures including one Greek terracotta bust of a goddess, possibly Persephone, ca. 3rd to 2nd century B.C.E.; and one Indus Valley zebu bull figurine, ca. 3rd millennium B.C.E. The bust of Persephone would have been a votive, as the ancient Greeks believed that the restoration of this goddess to this world would in turn promise the faithful their own resurrection from death. The bull figurine came from the Mohenjo-daro region, and is from one of the earliest cultures in central Asia.
