白玉質。圓雕。鵝回首穿蓮花，蓮花透雕而成，枝葉蜿蜒。鵝圓眼，長頸，兩翼刻畫細緻，羽毛富有層 次感，雙足貼腹隱起。上有穿孔，可供穿系佩掛。整器疏密對比強烈，猶如滿盛花朵的花籃。“寶鴨穿蓮”為寓意祥瑞之傳統題材紋飾。鴨和甲音節相似，又有“甲”的偏旁，蓮和連、廉同音，寶鴨穿蓮寓意“連中甲元”，又有“清正廉潔”之意，因此受到文人士大夫及學子喜愛。White jade carving in the round with fine sparkling translucence.
