历代刻本 竹纸 王昶 清 清光绪十九年（1893）上海醉六堂石印本4函24册提要：《金石萃编》嘉庆十年初刻本存世极少，继之同治十年补刻本，再后就晚至光绪十九年的石印本。《金石萃编》清代金石学史上继往开来的一部巨著，一共一百六十卷，成书于嘉庆十年（1805年）。所收上起夏商周，下殆宋、辽。以著录历代碑刻为主，汉以前按原来的篆、隶书摹写，汉以后用楷书，总计石刻达一千五百余种，另有铜器铭文十余则，是我国古代著录历代石刻较为完备的金石考古学专着。
