纸本 容闳 1828～1912 1页 作者简介：容闳（1828-1912），原名光照，谱名达萌，号纯甫，英文名Yung Wing，广东省香山县南屏村人，中国近代著名的教育家、外交家和社会活动家。容闳是第一个毕业于美国耶鲁大学的中国留学生，是中国留学生事业的先驱，被誉为“中国留学生之父”。参与创建上海江南机器制造总局；组织了第一批官费留美幼童。在中国近代西学东渐、戊戌变法和辛亥革命中都有不可磨灭的贡献。1912年病逝香港。
