佩的玉质，洁白温润，为羊脂白玉级别。一面以雕琢龙凤形象，一面题刻“龙凤”二字。四周缭绕刻画纹饰，丝细而规整。浮雕的龙凤盘卷飘拂，卷曲夸张。佩的上廓雕饰云纹等，上部有镂雕孔洞，为穿绳佩戴之用。 这件玉佩龙凤修饰威严苍劲，其雕琢工艺亦有上古遗风。此物造型少见，龙凤古拙，刻画手法夸张，图纹精美，线条卷曲相连，龙凤组合浑然一体，体现了制作者丰富的想象力。题材与工艺，显系为清代宫廷玉雕制作，为当中的代表。整体精美尊贵，实属罕见，显示了原佩者的高贵身份，或曾是皇帝大婚等喜庆之制。
