English School, 19th century Fighting cocks oil on panel 26.8 x 32cm Condition report: Under UV light, small flecks of retouching evident to the right leg of the standing cock, small isolated spots of retouching to the lower right and above the cock's head. There is some, what appears to be rubbing? to the background, apparent in the illustration, possibly to the varnish layer rather than the painting itself. There are some superficial surface abrasions. However, the picture is in generally in good condition.
