|拍品青白玉质，细腻密实。局部沁色。作卧伏状，以刻线琢出猪的双耳，四肢及各部位轮廓，腹下、嘴及尾部等，均是典型的“汉八刀”籹玉技法琢磨，线条刚劲有力，纹饰虽简单，传神逼真。中国古代以玉豚作为随葬的握玉，原因在于豚是供祭祀用的主要牲畜，《礼记》云：“羔豚而祭，百官皆足。”让死者握着玉豚离开这个世界，正包含了祈祷他在另一个世界活得富足的用意。玉豚寓富足，两者反映了我国古代人民对精神世界和物质世界的并重。
