A Chinese porcelain rectangular plaque, late Qing dynasty, finely painted with a landscape scene of bamboo and willow saplings clinging to rocks at the water's edge, all beneath an iron red oval seal incorporating part Qianlong mark, 38cm x 25.3cm, framed, together with a hardwood screen frame, believed to have originally enclosed the porcelain plaque. Provenance: this plaque came from the Hong Kong home of the current vendor's grandfather, who was a resident there from 1911. Buyer’s Premium 29.4% (including VAT @ 20%) of the hammer price.
