款识：阳羡惜阴室王
王寅春生于江苏镇江，清光绪二十六年（1901年）到宜兴上袁村，13岁时，拜赵送亭为先生，1921年起，因他制坯手艺特好，上海客户向他长期定制各式水平壶，他用印“阳羡惜阴室王”盖于壶底，“寅春”章盖于壶，从而名扬上海。后来，蜀山金石篆刻家潘稚亮刻“王寅春”方章相赠，他宝爱此印，一生一直用这方印钤于壶底。
