罐身呈矮鼓形，口沿微内敛。外壁绘五彩花鸟纹饰，内壁素胎，修胚规整，以利蓄养蟋蟀。全器纹饰勾绘细致，五彩亮丽，风格清新雅致。根据拍品罐内壁素胎特征，可知其为斗盆，数量远少于养盆，且属名家订烧，珍贵难得。附清代粉彩蛉房。
