TWO BLUE AND WHITE PORCELAIN 'FLORAL' BOWLS, MING DYNASTY China, Ming dynasty (1368-1644). Each with deep rounded sides rising from a tall ring foot to an everted rim, one painted to the exterior with alternating birds and flowers above a lappet border, the other with stylized flowers surrounded by scrolling vines, both with stylized vishvavajra to the interior. Condition: Good condition with old wear and firing flaws, the rims and feet with minor fritting and the foot of one with few minuscule chips. Provenance: From an old family collection in Pressburg, Austrian Empire, Slovakia, and thence by descent to the present owner. Weight: 286 g and 240 g Dimensions: Diameter 15.1 cm and 13.2 cm
