Qing dynasty (1644 - 1912). The shallow rounded sides rising from a short foot to an everted rim, a central medallion enclosing an iron-red ferocious five-clawed dragon against a ground of tempestuous waves in underglaze blue, the reverse side decorated with nine small iron-red dragons against the same blue waves. Four character mark at the base. Condition: good. Dimeter: 7 1/2", 19 cm.
