An illustration from an unusual Ragamala Series, India, Gujarat, circa 1800, opaque pigments on wasli paper, Ragini Maru, wife of Shri, with a prince and his wife seated in a marble pavilion flanked by a maiden on either side, all on a flower-like pedestal with two camels tethered below, with 4ll. of black Devanagari inscription above, within an orange border, 27.3 x 26cm.
