简介：阮元（1764年2月21日－1849年11月27日），字伯元，号芸台、雷塘庵主、揅经老人、怡性老人，江苏扬州仪征人。清朝中期官员、经学家、训诂学家、金石学家。阮元为乾隆五十四年（1789年）进士，先后在礼部、兵部、户部、工部供职，并出任山东、浙江学政，浙江、江西、河南巡抚及漕运总督、湖广总督、两广总督、云贵总督等职。身历乾隆、嘉庆、道光三朝，所至之处，以提倡学术、振兴文教为自任，勤于军政，治绩斐然。晚年官拜体仁阁大学士，致仕后加官至太傅。道光二十九年（1849年），阮元去世，年八十六。获赐谥号“文达”。
