Six Iron-Red Decorated ’Bat’ Dishes Of deep saucer-shape, the interior delicately painted in shades of iron-red with five bats, their wings outstretched forming a central medallion and twelve others swooping around the cavetto, the exterior similarly decorated with eight further bats, one base with a six-character Daoguang seal mark in underglaze blue, five with six-character marks of Guangxu. Period: Daoguang (1821‑1850) and Guangxu (1874‑1908). Diameter: 14.5 cm.
