A Chinese Turquoise Ground Vase Of square section, the tall straight sides rising from a flat base, brightly enameled with insects and flowers against a turquoise ground, a band of pendant yellow ruyi-heads to the rim, a band of swirling clouds against a yellow ground to the foot, the turquoise glaze extending to the foot save for the centre which bears the square seal mark of Jiaqing against a white ground.
