Carla Gavazzi (Bergamo 1913 – Milano 2008) He attended several colleges in Switzerland and in France where he studied violin, French and German. He made his debut in 1940 in La bohème, but due to the outbreak of World War II career was interrupted, resuming in 1946.He performed throughout Italy (Florence, Milan, Parma, Brescia, Trieste, Bologna, Verona, Rome, Naples, Palermo), while abroad only in Lisbon and Barcelona.He retired from the stage in 1959 due to gout and for family reasons. The repertoire ranged from Mozart to Verdi and Puccini, as well as some contemporary works titles.In the fifties recorded several works for the Cetra and participated in a film-opera Cavalleria rusticana.
