Enzo Mascherini (Firenze 1910 - Livorno 1981) After studying with Titta Ruffo and Richard Stracciari he debuted in 1937's La traviata. In 1939 he made his debut at the Teatro San Carlo in Naples, and in 1940 at La Scala.After World War II began an international career, which took him to sing in Paris, Prague, Vienna, Chicago, Rio de Janeiro, London, San Francisco, Mexico City, in addition to the presence in the major Italian theaters.Between 1946 and 1947 he played at the New York City Opera La Bohème, La Traviata, Rigoletto, Andrea Chénier, The Barber of Seville, Pagliacci.
