Eugenio Fernandi (Pisa 1924 – Rochester 1991) Raised in Valperga, he completed his vocal studies with Aureliano Pertile and completed the preparation for school of the Teatro alla Scala, earning the appreciation of Victor de Sabata.Just Scala made its first appearance in 1954 starring in The daughter of Virgil Mortari devil, followed by Rigoletto at the Coliseu dos Recreios Lisbon and attendance at La Fenice in Venice, the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino and the Teatro San Carlo in Naples.In 1957 he made an important debut at the Vienna State Opera as Cavaradossi, followed a year later by Don Carlo at the Salzburg Festival in a famous edition directed by Herbert von Karajan.
