Giuseppe Taddei (Genova 1916 – Roma 2010) From her childhood her aptitude for singing. In 1948 he made his debut at La Scala. It is active on the international scene at least until 1984, when he sings in L'elisir d'amore at the Teatro Comunale in Florence.Work with all the greatest singers and conductors, by Tullio Serafin Zubin Mehta, the aforementioned Karajan, Claudio Abbado, with whom he performs in Vienna in 1991 Simon Boccanegra at the age of 75 years.The repertoire is very diverse: from Mozart to Verdi maturity (Macbeth, Rigoletto, Simon Boccanegra, Otello), the most important characters of realism, including Scarpia, Tonio, Gérard Schicchi.
