Giovanni Malipiero (Padova 1906 – ivi 1970) After studying in his city he began in 1930 in Lonigo to star in Rigoletto. He begins a rapid career that saw him in important theaters in Italy: Rome, Venice, Turin, Genoa, Naples, Verona Arena. In 1937, La Cenerentola, he made his debut at La Scala, where he appeared fine in the early fifties and where he was present in 1946 at the reopening concert after the war, directed by Arturo Toscanini.
