Well presented upon a carved hardwood stand. The Jade shows moist milky appearance with even tone creme-celadon iridescent. The sheep, ram or goat (yang) is one of the twelve animals of the Chinese zodiac. The sheep (yang) has the same pronunciation and therefore symbolizes the male principle yang in Yin Yang and also the "sun" (yang). Sheep kneel when they nurse which to Confucians symbolize "filial piety" as bowing to the mother. The Nephrite Jade has a lustrous tone, with pale-celadon iridescent and attractive sporadic golden russet inclusions, exquisite and detail, the jade stone have clean tone, with pale-celadon iridescent and moist milky appearance.
