款识：乙酉嘉平阿豹记于沪上。 钤印：阿宝之鉨 周根宝，又名阿豹，字夏商。生于上海，祖籍浙江镇海。师承谢之光、郑慕康，先后毕业于上海市美术专科学校预科、上海大学美术学院中国画系。曾长期任职于上海博物馆，从事中国古代书画临摹、复制工作，80年代中期任教于上海大学美术学院，90年代初定居美国纽约。擅人物、花鸟、走兽。
