Nabeshima style bowl and cover Japanese, 19th Century decorated with a breaking wave motif and scattered kibu flower heads above which are scattered maple leaves in overglaze enamels, interior with three maple leaves with the rim with six rounded mounds and scattered flowers, on a yellow ground cover with repeated decoration, kiku cup shaped handle, 8cm high x 15cm across Provenance: Acquired by the vendor's father at various London auction houses in the mid 20th Century Condition: areas of damage around the rim with restoration, cracklure all over, lid has chips around the rim
