简介：李鸿章，安徽合肥人。字黻、渐甫，号少荃、仪叟。洋务运动的主要倡导者之一，淮军创始人和统帅。官至直隶总督兼北洋通商大臣，授文华殿大学士，在日本首相伊藤博文的眼中，被视为大清帝国中唯一有能耐可和世界列强一争长短之人。慈禧太后称赞他是“再造玄黄”之人。赠太傅，晋一等肃毅侯，谥文忠。
