钤印：①活泼 陈汉第 ②光绪癸酉翰林 长沙曹氏典初 题识：①云麟仁兄雅属 伏庐陈汉第②云麟先生雅正 曹典初年七十五 说明 陈汉第（1874-1949） 浙江杭州人。字仲恕，号伏庐，清季翰林。辛亥革命后，任总统府秘书，***秘书长，清史馆提调。是杭州求是书院（浙江大学前身）的创办人之一，曾长期任故宫博物院委员。擅绘花卉及枯木竹石，尤善画竹。笔墨严谨，极有法度而仍生动有致，善篆刻，藏印颇丰，有《伏庐印存》传世。曹典初（1876-？） 湖南长沙人，字寅生，号淑甫，光绪29年进士，授翰林院编修，官山西学政。工书，书法颜柳，治学渊博，善写行楷，气韵平和，拙中含姿，有名于时。
