A French Egyptian Revival ormolu mantel clock, early 19th century, the silvered dial set with Roman numerals, the movement striking on a bell, with an indistinct maker's stamp, the case surmounted by a seated female figure, supported by a pair of caryatids, with all-over floral and foliate detail, 38cm wide 17cm deep 45cm high Condition report: General light surface wear, scratches and small knocks to case. Some rubbing and discolouration to gilding. Associated key present but no pendulum. Movement untested and no guarantee of working order. Tarnish, discolouration and some scratches to face.
