Attributed to James Salt (1850-1903) A capriccio view of Venice at sunset oil on canvas 60 x 95cm Condition report: Oil on canvas which has been lined. The canvas is in plane and the tension is still. The paint layers are in a good, stable condition overall. Small areas of retouching are well matched to the original. The varnish is yellowed and slightly patchy. There is a layer of surface dirt and fly spots on the varnish.
