Tang dynasty 7-10th century. Of compressed globular form, the mouth encircled by a neatly incised ring, decorated with streaks of intermingling amber and green glaze, stopping short of the buff foot. Diameter 6cm. Middle waterpot has a deep and rounded body that rises from small round food. It is covered inside and out with a marbled white and reddish slip that appears as brown marbling under the tallow-amber glaze. Diameter 5.3cmProvenance: Private collection from Hampshire
